The physical design of the Insight moves the power supply away from critical phono circuits, with large capacitors to smooth this power delivery. The base unit ships with a high-quality well-shielded switching power supply. For even better performance, pick the option with the built-in linear power supply.

The various configurations are made using gold-plated header pins and gold-plated shunts, which offer high-pressure contacts with a large surface area. There are five gain and five loading settings. 

Note: The input RCA connectors are too widely spaced for single cable interconnects, you must use interconnects that come as two separate cables.
