The Nu-Vista 600 is a integrated amplifier that offers high-end performance in a beautiful, relatively compact package.

This beautifully built amp is essential the same as the legendary NuVista 800 but with less elaborate metalwork and "only" 200 W per channel. It combines nuvistor technology with surface-mount technology and CAD/CAM PCB concepts. Like its big brother the NuVista 600 has extraordinary technical and sonic performance.

For Musical Fidelity, designing the NuVista 600 was a labour of passion and love. It has tried to achieve the absolute maximum performance from every part of the circuit.

The NuVista 600 integrated offers full-on, high-end performance, in a beautiful, relatively compact package, and gives a comfortable 200 W per channel.

Nuvistor Technology

Nuvistor tubes were invented in the 1950s to solve some shortcomings of conventional tubes. Nuvistor tubes offer very high reliability, low microphony, low noise, consistency from batch to batch, small size, relatively low power consumption, and great technical performance.

Unfortunately just as uses for nuvistor tubes were being explored, the transistor was invented and it was game over for nuvistors.

There the matter rested until about fifteen years ago, when Musical Fidelity created the first of its ground-breaking Nu-Vista series. These legendary, limited-edition products sold out in a matter of months. Today, fifteen years later, they command very high second-hand prices because of their beautiful sound, build quality, and longevity
