This bundle is the quickest and easiest way for kids and adults to get going with the micro:bit. Add our Getting Started with micro:bit PDF and our Makey:bit companion board to super charge your micro:bit and you'll be a pro in no time! This board is designed to be fun and easy to use.
Measuring 4cm by 5cm (about 1.5" x 2"), users can create anything from games and animations to scrolling stories at school, at home and on the go - all you need is imagination and creativity. The micro:bit is completely programmable and each of its LEDs can be individually programmed as well its buttons, inputs / outputs, accelerometer, magnetometer and Bluetooth Smart Technology, which means IoT fun!
What you need
- A computer, phone or tablet with internet access to load the Microsoft MakeCode or Python code editors
- If you're using a computer, connect your micro:bit using the USB cable
- For building and making projects with your micro:bit, some extra items that are great to have include headphones, alligator clip leads and conductive tapes.
