T+A Elektroakustik MP 3100 HV Multi Source SACD Player / DAC

T+A's most sophisticated multimedia player, the MP 3100 HV natively processes DSD, and its SACD transport is a completely new development. DSD data are handled by the unique analog true 1-bit DSD converter from the PDP 3000 HV, which processes the DSD data in native form as a bitstream. PCM signals are converted using T+A's outstanding double differential quadruple converter.

Various music sources are available, including Internet radio, UPnP servers, USB Master Mode, and HD streaming. The tuner offers FM, FM-HD and DAB+ capability. The MP 3100 HV also includes a high-quality Bluetooth streaming module for transferring music from mobile devices. Control is via the F 3100 IR remote control handset or the T+A MusicNavigator App.

Whether you already have a disc collection, or are riding the wave of the silver disc revival, the SACD/CD transport in the MP 3100 HV is completely new, using the latest decoder technology, and offers extremely fast access times with excellent error correction. It is housed in a solid aluminum case that acts as a mass damper, and the drive is decoupled using a special three-point mounting system.  The disc drawer runs on two accurately machined stainless steel pushrods, while the disc rests in a specially coated, high-quality ABS cradle.

All the digital streaming circuits are designed around the modern understanding of just how much jitter affects high-end playback quality. T+A uses a two-stage process for clock generation and uses extremely precise internal clocks.
